Upcoming Wildfire Safety Events

The Bellevue Fire Department is offering wildfire preparedness sessions to help community members safeguard their homes and neighborhoods. In 2023 and 2024, the department responded to 352 vegetation fires, underscoring the urgency of prevention.
Community members are invited to attend a session on Monday, June 9 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Newport Way Library. A special Wildfire Urban Interface (WUI) Day event titled “Living With Fire” will also take place on Saturday, June 21 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Lewis Creek Park.
