(Newcastle, Washington) – We were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic incident that resulted in the loss of two lives due to a tree falling on November 2, near 155th Avenue S.E. in Newcastle. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families and loved ones affected by this devastating event.
The City of Newcastle immediately began a third-party engineering investigation to review the area, which is ongoing. The City continues to be committed to cooperating with local authorities as they investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
