The City of Newcastle is excited to announce the return of Newcastle Days, our annual community celebration, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lake Boren Park. This free, family-friendly event honors Newcastle’s official cityhood in 1994 and brings together residents and visitors for a day of fun, food, and festivities.

Event Highlights

-Cars on the Green Auto Show: From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., classic and custom cars will be on display. The awards ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m.

-Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances throughout the day, including a grand finale concert by Boogie Boulevard from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

-Community Parade & Opening Ceremonies: The parade starts at 10:30 a.m., featuring local performers and groups, led by Newcastle’s favorite bagpiper, Neil Hubbard.

-Activities for All Ages: Experience giant inflatables, carnival games, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more.

-Historic Cemetery Open House: Explore Newcastle’s history with a docent-led tour at 2:00 p.m.

-Food & Beverage: Savor a variety of food options from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a craft beer and wine garden hosted by the Greater Newcastle Chamber of Commerce.

Parking & Directions

Lake Boren Park is located at 13058 SE 84th Way, Newcastle. Main parking lot is reserved for ADA parking and drop-offs. General event parking is available in the public lot immediately after the park entrance on your right. Parking fills quickly, especially at midday. Consider carpooling, walking, or taking the #240 bus to the event.
