2024 Fall Recycling Event

Great job, Newcastle!

At the Fall Recycling Collection Event on September 28, participants recycled an impressive 38,553 pounds (or 19.3 tons) of material, averaging 126.5 pounds per vehicle.

This event was made possible by funding from the Washington State Department of Ecology, the King County Solid Waste Division, the King County Hazardous Waste Management Program, and E-Cycle Washington. Thanks to your efforts, a significant amount of material was kept out of landfills, benefiting the environment.
