City of Newcastle is pleased to announce its recognition as a 2024 WellCity Award recipient. The city was one of only 117 cities honored with this award across Washington state.
The
WellCity Award is given annually by the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) in recognition of AWC members who achieve quality standards in employee health promotion.
City of Newcastle appreciates this recognition on behalf of its staff and the entire community. By earning a 2024 WellCity Award, the city will receive a 2% premium discount on all medical premiums for its active employees, their spouses and dependents in 2025.
